The Art and Rhubarb Pie Festival needs 80 to 200 volunteers. Please check here to learn about the different positions and sign-up!

Greeters (4:00P.M.-8P.M. Thursday, 9:00A.M. –11A.M. Friday)
Responsibilities – Directing Vendors ,Artist and Performers as they arrive; two at “back of
event”(Kincaid& Main Street), two at start of Festival (Ryan House & Main) and three by registration. Standing job.

Registration Check-in (4 P.M. – 8 P.M. Thursday Heritage Park)
Responsibilities – Check-in vendors ; four Thursday
When majority of guests have checked-in, break-down registration, moving all items to
designated area. Standing job.

Registration Runners
Responsibilities – Be on hand to work as needed by Registration Check in and needs of participants. Standing/running job.

Volunteer Central (initial meeting 5P.M. Heritage Park Thursday (10A.M-8P.M. Friday and
10A.M-8P.M. Saturday) Responsibilities – Sign in all volunteers, direct them to their stations
and provide instructions on their tasks, distribute t-shirts. As volunteers leave the event, sign
them out and complete any needed volunteer certification cards (for high school students).

Vendor Monitor (10A.M-8P.M. Friday and 10A.M-8P.M. Saturday)
Responsibilities – survey the vendor booths make sure they are in accordance to Festival
Rules. In sure vendors have smooth operations and don’t need anything. Walking/ standing
job.

Food Court Monitors (10A.M-8P.M. Friday and 10A.M-8P.M. Saturday)
Survey the Food vendor booths and make sure they are in accordance to Festival Rules. In sure
vendors have smooth operations and don’t need anything . Walking/ standing job.
Multi Cultural Stage Hand (10A.M-8P.M. Friday and 10A.M-8P.M. Saturday)
Responsibilities – Help stage coordinator with any and all request. Sanding Job
Standing job.

Security Brigade (24hours starting Thursday at 6P.M. until Saturday at 11:00P.M.)
Responsibilities – walking/ running/ standing job. Monitor the Festival area as a whole, vendor
booths, food court, multicultural stage, main stage, barrel house and main street dance operations. Must attend pre-event safety meeting with police department. Standing job.

Barrel House (3P.M. –10P.M. Friday and 3P.M-9P.M. Saturday)
Responsibilities – Distribute glassware (with drink tickets) and collect payment. Set up
station and box up any unsold glasses at the end of the event.
Seated job (checking I.D’s, taking cash, etc.)

Strike Crew (11:00P.M. to complete)
Responsibilities – Strike event: take down tables, assist in tent take down, fold chairs
and load on racks. All signage taken down. All materials packed up. Food stations
dismantled. Lifting required.
